Harvesting
Ready, set, pick!
From March to May, the weather in New Zealand starts to cool down. The many months of sunshine and rain have made the kiwifruit perfectly ripe for picking. Harvesting teams carefully pluck the fruit from the low-hanging canopy of the orchards. The are then checked for abnormalities (such as malformations, bruises and bumps) packed, and shipped all over the world. Kiwifruit is one of New Zealand’s largest exports; meaning that there is plenty of fruit to be picked during the harvesting season! Sound good? Apply today!
